About Us

Thadipauni is situated at the bank of Wardha river and it is the last village of narkhed Tahsil. The population of the village is 3000, and there is a Grampanchayat. The village is politically conscious from the time of Janpadsabha. There is an educational facility available from 1st to 12th std. But due to the lack of higher educational facility student were going to Bharsingi, Katol and Warud. To understanding the students difficulties about higher education the Ex Vice-President of Z.P.Nagpur as well as Ex President of Rashtrawadi Congress Party Mr. Bandopant Umarkar founded “Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Bahuddesiy Sanstha” in 2000. He started Kala Vanijya Mahavidyalaya at Thadipauni, to pay debt of motherland and to fulfill his educational dream. 125 students had been admitted in the educational year 2009-10. From that time the number of students have been increasing year by year. The president of institution constructed magnificient building in a very adverse situation . The educational work was began in a new building from 2011-12.
Today, the educational session 2020-21, the college is debuted in its 12th year. In this educational session there are near about 529 students have been admitted, in both (Arts & Commerce) faculties. NSS have been working since last 8 years. Various schemes and programs are conducted under NSS. The students & Villagers are guided through NSS about burning topics such as population, farmers suicide, women empowerment etc. Every year number of students of college are participated in the state level university NSS camp. Students are also participated in the sports and oratory competition organized by RTMNU, Nagpur. General knowledge exam also conducted by the college for the students preparation of competitive examination. The President of the institution is the worshiper and campaigner of philosophy of Honorable Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj. The death anniversary ceremony of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj has been celebrating from the last 15 years. There are lots of people from Warud, Narkhed tahsil comes together to participate in this holy ceremony. Lots of programs are conducted by students union of college.
The library of the college is prosperious. There are lots of books, daily newspapers, magazines, competitive books in this library.
For the elaboration of college, the president, the secretory, members, principal, lecturers and others are always attemptive our slogan is,
“Come to acquire knowledge & go to social work”
Although college is running on permanent non-grant basis, in the last 10 years it increases qualitative & quantitiveness progress.
The students in the present era are the pillars of Nation. The efforts of college are not only to teach but to make them self-reliant and responsible citizen of the nation. In this holy work of education, the institution expect the collaboration of villagers, parents to expand the reputation of the college.
